Who can drive the motorhome or mini camper?

The minimum age to be a driver is 25 years. You must have a valid driving license B for 3 years with a minimum of 6 current points. In case of customers who are not residents of the EU, must have an equivalent valid international driving license. You can hire an additional driver for € 10 / day, maximum 2 drivers.

How is the motorhome/ mini camper reserved?

To complete the reservation, 30% of the total amount of the vehicle rental must be paid in advance.

Can I cancel the reservation?

if I have already booked In case of cancellation, the client must pay the following cancellation fees:
-20% of the rental price up to 40 days before the start of the rental.
-50% of the rental price between 39 and 20 days before the start of the rental.
-75% of the rental price between 19 and 10 days before the start of the rental.
-100% of the rental price less than 9 days from the start of the rental.

What documents must be signed at delivery?

On the delivery day, the company and the customer will sign, in addition to the rental contract, a document that will include all the possible defects that may be found in the vehicle at the moment of formalizing the contract.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

You can only withdraw the vehicle having paid the total amount of the rent and the deposit, which will be € 90 motorhome and € 500 mini camper, to cover any damage that may occur both inside and outside of it and another vehicle and it can be returned up to 2 days after the rental if there has been no incident. If there is, the time will depend on knowing the total rate of the repair.

How can I pay ?

You can pay by cash or credit card.

What documents do I have to present at delivery?

At the time of the vehicle’s collection, the client must provide the ID or passport along with the driver's license and photocopies of both.

Where is the motorhome/mini camper delivered?

The delivery and return of the vehicle will be in Ciutadella. We have a pick-up and return service to customers at the airport and port of Maó (extra payments applied).

When can I pick up or return the motorhome/ mini camper?

Delivery and return schedules:
-The check in will take place in the afternoon from 5pm to 8pm.
-The checkout will take place in the morning from 9 am to 12 pm.

What happens if we return it after 12h or the agreed time?

The return of the vehicle must be done well in advance of the client's final departure time or before 12 o'clock, in order to assess the status of the vehicle and proceed to the corresponding refund of the deposit, if delivery is made after this limit, there will be a penalty and it cannot be reviewed at the moment. The deposit will be returned until after 48h. as long as the state of the vehicle is the same as when it was delivered.

Can we smoke or light candles?

It is not allowed to smoke inside the vehicle or to light candles because of the risk of inflammation.

Are pets allowed in the motorhome/mini camper?

Pets are not allowed.

Is it possible to take the motorhome/ mini camper off of Menorca?

The rent is limited to Menorca. To leave the island you must have a specific written authorization from the company.

What happens if the motorhome/mini camper fails?

In case of a failure not related to the customer’s misuse, CamperVanMenorca will cover the repair costs and, if possible, will replace the vehicle with a similar one.

How should i return the motorhome/mini camper?

The vehicle has to be returned the same as it was delivered, clean inside including the shower tray, with the clean water tank full, the dirty water tank and the empty toilet and diesel equal to delivery. In case of not complying with any of these situations, the corresponding sanction must be paid.

Do you give us directions to the motorhome/ mini camper, or places to visit?

The delivery of the vehicle all the indications of its use are given and a personalized map is given with the best places to visit, sleep or eat on the island, so that the best is not lost.

Is there any area of motorhomes/mini campers with showers? or where can I empty / fill the waters of the motorhome or mini camper on the island?

In Mercadal there is 1 motorhome/camper area with showers for the loading / unloading of clean, gray and black water from the wc, electricity charge, also has showers. What are the parking/overnight stay regulations for motorhomes or mini camper vans?

With motorhomes, because of their construction and dimensions, you have more possibilities or comforts than with a mini camper, which, being more compact, have more facilities such as parking or ease of driving, for example.

with motorhomes and mini campers you can eat or sleep inside the vehicle as it is a private space.
- Only with motorhomes you can cook inside with the cookers installed for such use, with mini campers not inside and outside it would be considered camping.
- with motorhomes you can use the water from the sink or shower and hot water, with mini campers even if they carry water, they cannot spill any liquid outside.

- with motorhomes and mini campers you cannot take things outside and go beyond the outer perimeter of the vehicle (chairs or table on the ground, the awning unfolded, things hanging, this would be considered camping,
